A Lovin' Couple
This image is on my new newspaper mailer going out later today. I just did a postcard mailer for magazines and children's industry folk using the image from the Film Festival poster I painted earlier in the month. Now that The Fall is upon us I have to plant those postcard promotion seeds and try to get as much editorial work as I can. Usually I find my busy season starts from late August and continues through late January, but this year it's been kind of sluggish. I got caught on some low-paying/tine consuming projects that kept me from promoting like I should have been doing. So, there's no time like the present. I'm hoping to do a Hallowwen promotion of some kind. Maybe a paper puppet. We'll see...we'll see.

Do You Party? Well... Do Ya'...Punk?
I'm fortunate to have some great Alternative newspapers calling me in pinches for illustrations like this. Art Director Aaron Huffman over at The Stranger needed this little beaut' pretty fast and I had some company at the time, so it was squeezed out in the wee hours. but I think he was happy and that it did come out pretty good. That cocaine bag is such a whore. I like how needy Ecstasy looks.

The BLAB Show!
Here are some shots from The Blab Show I went to last weekend. It sure was a heck of a lot of fun and man I wish I had entered more work for that issue of Blab. Also, my friends Mark Todd and Esther Watson had work in this show. Check it out online at

Children's Film Festival Poster in Boston at The Coolidge Corner Theatre
Here's the painting I did for The Coolidge Theatre's Children's Film Festival in Boston. It's an historic old theatre that has this amazing festival for kids starting in a couple of weeks and going through some time in November. If you are in the area up there, here's a link to their theatre web site for more information.
It was a real pleasure doing this piece for them. Hopefully I'll get to do more of these!
And feel free to leave me a message on my new voicemail.
