All week I am being showcased each day in a long feature as "Artist of the Week" at TribeLA Magazine in both their print and online version. At the end of the week they'll reveal the entire interview and all the work that was showcased. I feel so privileged to be featured in this local arts publication and since most illustrators work in a dark hole without ever getting much feedback, it's so nice to be appreciated. I was diagnosed a couple of years ago with COPD and I was beyond scared! My lung function test indicated 49% capacity. After having had the flu a year ago, the shortness of breath, coughing and chest pains continued even after being treated with antibiotics. I've been smoking two packs a day for 36 years.
